i really have know idea how to distinguist hardwood & pargo
flooring is…… and please can you tell me what is laminate flooring
means. thank you.
I'm into interior design and the choice would still depend on the user & who pays for it:
HARDWOOD - made of real solid wood, it vary in different types of wood such as Oak, Mahogany, Teak, blah blah…
PERGO - is a brand of LAMINATED flooring, it's a good brand & has
diffrent classifications. some are for heavy traffic (commercial), it
has label to tell you how long it will last (guarranty) - some for 10
years & so…
HOW TO DISTINGUISH:
hardwood are solid, you can feel it when you step or stomp on it, less
"squeek". the grains are not as perfect as the PERGO, but more
beautiful cause it's more natural. plus u can detect if it's PERGO if
the edges has these profile (that's how it's called) somehow it's
around the room on the edges & doors.
PROs & CONs:
HARDWOOD - a good investment IF you can afford it! and you usually has
to wax &/or polish it every now & then. it will last for
generations, but could cost you almost the same amount as your room… it
takes weeks / months to install it.
PERGO - a lot cheaper, if you are just renting the place or don't have
yet the money to get hardwood floor, you can easily remove the
laminated flooring in just a click & then transfer it to wherever
room you wanted. easy maintainance, just need a damp mop or cloth to
clean it. easy installation, it would take hours to complete a room.
RECOMMENDATION:
of course ANYBODY WOULD PREFER HARDWOOD FLOOR and pergo is just an alternative to get that wood look!
However, Beijing could signal its willingness to allow a continued
gradual appreciation in a number of ways, including a widening of the
daily trading band against the dollar and further reform of the
financial system.
Fastfrank is correct. The trading band on the Yuan is +/- .3% I
believe. In other words, if the exchange rate is say 8 to 1, the Bank
of China will allow the Yuan to fluctuate .3% above or below the
exchange rate (they're also called intervention bands). So, if the Yuan
moves above 8.024:1 or below 7.976:1 in the exchange rate, the Central
banks would step in and buy/sell the respective currencies to bring
them back within the trading range. Hope this helps.
Try Homes Across Canada. You can check out farms and vacant land for
sale in Nova Scotia. They will have all current properties listed with
a real estate company.

use a good leveling base and put your flooring down using a high
quality glue to install the flooring. you can also put plywood over the
concrete to be a sub floor to nail the flooring to.
The only builder that I know that builds High-tech and quality homes in Thomasville and Cairo Georgia is capitalhomebuilders.com

20 feet tall
Depends on who you hire to cut it down. I just paid $100. to have a
mature apple tree cut. I felt that was a little too much. If it is a
hardwood tree with a straight trunk and has easy access, a lumber mill
will usually pay you or cut it down free of charge just to get the
lumber. Cherry, walnut, oak, etc. are valuable to them for selling to
furniture makers.
The existing countertop is probably 50-60 years old, with many
scratches and a few pits, but otherwise in good shape structurally.
There is a seam in one area that has sort of "bloomed" up a little, but
isn't really peeling. I just thought this might be a less expensive
solution than replacing the whole countertop. Dimensions are approx.
28" x 20'.
In some cases you can. Here is an interesting article:

or beaten gold, the painting is off in some parts where it shows the
wood beneath it and I would like to touch is up myself with gold leaf I
can not afford an expert. My questions are:
1. Do you know of a website that gives you step by step instructions on how to do this?
2. Can real gold pain come in liquid or spray form.
3. Can I paint over the gold that is already there?
3. If I use gold spray paint will that decrease the value of the furniture?
The repair will depend on whether your furniture is antique, vintage, or new.
Generally, antique furniture should not be altered, because it will
diminish the value. Antique furniture that is gold is usually true gold
leaf. Gilding is a technique detailed on the link below.
I've touched-up scratches on both gold-leaf and gold-painted
furniture with the Modern Master's metallic paint, and found that
"pharaohs gold" is a good match for most items. This is easy to use,
because it just brushes on, and is great for small repairs on vintage
and new furniture.
